You know, Hilmir Snorri, my older one, also didn’t walk until he was 17 months old. At that point he just stood up and started walking like he had been doing it his whole life. This is very typical for him, he never does anything until he is sure he can do it perfectly (plus this was so much easier on his parents than his little brother who was all over the place from the time he was 5-6 months old!)
