Last days of Fall

The first day of winter is December 21.  Look for a post next week on ways to celebrate!

Right now, I’m savoring these last fleeting days of fall….

    Wow, it still looks like fall there! We are now in drab and dull and awaiting the snow to freshen it all up.

    I can’t believe how quickly autumn came and went. Luckily, there are all sorts of lovely things one can do only when it’s chilly, like drinking warm apple cider while wearing a heavy turtleneck sweater, or eating a hearty pot roast and raising a glass of porter. Hmmm. My winter experiences appear to be all food and drink based. Why is this?
